Meet Jacob

Jacob completed his Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah Valley University. Jacob has experience working with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenges associated with neurodiversity. Jacob has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Jacob utilizes a neurodiversity-informed, client-centered approach to help clients better understand their own thoughts. Jacob spent a year of his Master’s program researching maternal mental health and is passionate about increasing access to compassionate care for both parents as they experience the many changes that adding another member of the family can bring.

“My number one goal is to help empower you to reach your goals and feel comfortable in your own skin again. I work to create an environment where you are enabled to change what you hope to change and reinforce what you hope to reinforce. Your life, however uncontrollable it may feel now, can feel manageable with the right tools in your toolbox. I hope that as we work together, we can find those tools that best work for you in living the life you want to live.”
